- Description No cutting and no gluing needed! Students will create a low prep Veterans Day book by simply folding! Copy the pages two sided, and fold into fourths! Writing topics include: Veterans Day information, The Poppy, adjectives to describe a veteran, an acrostic VETERAN poem, thank you note to a veteran, and “What does Veterans Day mean to you?” Digital slides are included for each writing prompt as well as a page to print and color. To assemble, simply copy two sided; fold in half and then fold again in fourths to make a small book! If you are printing two sided from your printer, choose to “flip pages on the long side” to print on both sides. This is a fun activity to honor Veterans Day.
