The exceptional width of the fabric allows you to lie across it, a recommended position for ideal back support. The fine fabric used to craft our hammock is woven on traditional wooden looms. The result is a textile as soft as robust. The traditional fabric of our Mayan hammocks has been rigorously tested by a European laboratory for resistance and chemicals in 2023. When reasonably used, you can keep a handwoven hammock intact for many years. Preferably, don’t let the fabric of your hammock be exposed to rain or below-zero temperatures. To preserve it and your cloth, we recommend washing your hammock alone by hand or in its bag, using the delicate program of your washing machine.
