Description DT164-W provides 16 microphone preamps and 4 line outputs in a versatile wall-mount design for permanent installation. 16 Mic Preamps 60dB of gain, Phantom Power indicators and -20dB pad for line level sources. 4 Line Outs Balanced, relay protected line outputs on XLR. Wall or Floor Mount Designed for fixed installation in or on walls, or in floor traps. 96kHz Dante Support Choose between standard 48kHz operation and high-fidelity 96kHz operation. Install Options Wall or Floor Mount The reversible mounting frame allows for in-wall or on-wall mounting. With custom brackets, the unit can be fitted in a standard NEMA box, or mounted in a floor pocket for stage use. Install Options Flexible Power Options The IEC mains power inlet can be replaced with a gland module and screw terminals for fixed installation, and a DC 12V backup input is also provided. DT164-W offers the acclaimed Allen & Heath preamps, partnered with 96kHz converters, for best-in-class sound quality over Dante, plus Primary and Secondary ports for daisy-chain or redundancy through secure EtherCon connectors. Software DT Preamp Control DT Preamp Control is a Windows / macOS application that allows remote control of multiple DT168 or DT164-W Dante expanders. Control of analogue gain, phantom power and Pad is provided per socket. The socket names are also displayed and can be edited in Dante Controller. DT Preamp Control extends the applications of the DT168 and DT164-W expanders, not limited to Allen & Heath mixing systems or matrix processors. These include large distributed audio networks in venues, stadia and educational campuses, where high-channel count Dante I/O is required in multiple locations. DT164-W Compatibility Up to 16 DT164-W expanders can be added to an AHM, SQ, Avantis or dLive system when equipped with an SQ Dante or dLive 96kHz Dante card, or directly to a Dante-equipped Qu mixer. The DT164-W can also be used on Dante-equipped 3rd-party mixers in conjunction with the DT Preamp Control software.
